Hospital Contract Manager

Position objective

The Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG) delivers a range of private health insurance shared services to its member funds, and to the wider private health insurance industry.

This role has been created to support the claims management and growth strategies of ARHG and its member funds.

The Hospital Contract Manager will be responsible for a hospital contracting portfolio. As part of managing this portfolio, the successful applicant will be required to build relationships with hospital contract managers, negotiate contracted rates and services, administer contract documentation, analyse data, and liaise with ARHG’s member funds. The Hospital Contract Manager will also support the Executive Manager Provider Relations where required.

The successful applicant will have experience in hospital/health fund contract negotiations, and a proven track record of achieving outcomes, meeting deadlines, and working under pressure.
